Business Oriented TV Show in Sudan aims to Empower Youth Entrepreneurship

  Khartoum, 31st March 2021: The Young Businessmen Association and the British Council join efforts to bring to live a competition that helps combat youth unemployment in Sudan.   ‘ ‘ Mashrouy’’s panel of judges, from left: Kamal Ahmed al-Zubair, Abida Yahia Mahdi, Syed Ahmed Hassan and Ahmed Abdellatif   The Mashrouy competition’s first season was held in 2013, where twelve contestants compete against each other and present their business ideas to a panel of Judges. Mr. Ahmed Abdellatif, the founder of the Young Businessmen Association, is one of the judges on the show alongside Mr. Kamal Ahmed al-Zubair, Ms. Abida Yahia Mahdi, and Mr. Syed Ahmed Hassan. Since its inception, the show aimed to get the Sudanese people start thinking with a business mindset. Khartoum, 21st March 2021: CTC Group president Mr. Ahmed Amin Abdellatif spoke at the U.S. – Sudan Business and Investment Forum held via a webinar in cooperation with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).     In an online forum held between the CCA and the U.S. – Sudan Business Council on March 31 st 2021, Mr. Ahmed Amin Abdellatif was a speaker alongside H.E. Abdalla Hamdok, Prime Minister at Republic of Sudan, Ms. Dana Banks, President Joe Biden Special Assistant and Senior Director for Africa at the National Security Council as well as the minister of agriculture and the minister of finance and economic planning at Republic of Sudan.
